Yes it is possible for couples to live in student accommodation. How this will work will depend on the the type of student accommodation.
Houses, flats and apartments
In this type of student accommodation you can simply choose the type of living arrangement that best suits you. For example you may choose to share a one bedroom apartment or a two bedroom flat.
If you prefer a househare with other students then you will just need to ensure you choose a house which has a suitably sized room.
Halls of Residence
If you are looking to share a room in a Hall then you will just need to select the appropriate room type. This will normally be a self contained studio or apartment which is of an appropriate size.
When you book the room you should make it clear that you intend to share it with your partner.
It is worth noting that some rooms in Halls are not suitable for couples. Ensuite rooms are normally designed for one person occupancy for example.
